Swing into Spring Social: March 29, 2026

Join your friends on the tennis court for some social tennis followed by prize drawing and lunch on the beautiful Kiva patio. Get your meal tickets beginning 3/13 from 8am-10:30am at the registration table in the Kiva Rotunda and afterward at the Kiva Club Member Services desk until Wednesday, March 25th. Lunch options: hamburger, hot dog or Boca veggie burger.

Women's Doubles Club Championship: February 21, 2026

The weather was perfect, and the 14 players in the Women’s Tournament delivered an impressive showcase of their tennis skills. Congratulations to all! 6.0 Division; the teams fought a long battle with a traditional match that included a second set tie break and a match tie break. Karen McClellan and Sandy Stiefer finalists/Susan Lutz and Treacy Rekuc champions. Susan and Treacy won 10-8 in the match tie break.  7.0 Division; Karen Baisch and Peggy Jacobs finalists/Karen Fly and Tammy Lafleur champions. After 5 rounds of Round Robin play only 7 points separated first and last place. Karen and Tammy bested Karen and Peggy in the championship round 7-3.

Smash and Show Skills Challenge and Demo Day: January 10, 2026

A strong group filled the tennis courts for the skills challenge, with sharp target‑hitting and some truly great prizes adding to the energy of the day.

December 13 and 14, 2025

We had a great turn out for the Men's Doubles Club Championship. Congratulations to all! 6.5 Division; Tom Green and Kevin Milbert second place/Dave Hardy and Bob Thoma champions. 7.0+ Division; John Matthyssen and Micheal Zamora second place/ Kevin Donovan and Tom Grabara champions.

The weather cooperated and the courts were buzzing during the Fall Social and Membership Drive. Thank you for supporting the club! Event photos are posted, check out the smiling, happy tennis club members.

Manley's Fall Fun Team Tennis Tournament October 19, 2025

We had a fantastic turn out for the FFTTT! Thanks to Manley for organizing. From Manley: The tournament was terrific, and I know from the many comments at the end that a good time was had by one and all. Thank you all for playing and making it a success.

Unlike in the Spring when we last offered this tournament and one of the teams dominated throughout, this time the team scores were much closer and in fact there was a change in positions from the halfway mark to the end. At the half-way mark, the team scores were Yellow 215, Blue 197, White 181, and Red 173, while the final totals were, Yellow Team 419, Red Team 391, WhiteTeam 379, and Blue Team 373.

Congratulations to the winning team; Jim Piche, John Matthyssen, Karen Crook, Karen McClellan, Leo Turkel, Nestor Martinez, Sandy Stiefer, and Jackie Kurth. Go Yellow!
