The Tennis Court Rules provide guidance for the fair and cooperative use of the courts. All members should follow these rules when reserving and playing on the tennis court. As stated in the Trilogy Association Rules, proper tennis clothing and etiquette are required on the courts at all times. Trilogy residents are responsible for the actions of their guests including compliance with the Tennis Court Rules. Please review and follow the current tennis court rules below when playing. Trilogy at Vistancia Tennis Court Rules
Effective 4/9/2025
Introduction
These tennis club rules govern the use of tennis courts 1-6 and replace the document “Tennis Court Rules” dated May 15, 2023.
Reservations
Trilogy tennis courts are a community shared asset and may be used for tennis play by all Trilogy residents and their approved guests for a daily fee. The website RMC2020 (www.reservemycourt.com) is used to reserve Trilogy tennis courts in compliance with the court rules. For instructions on the use of RMC2020, please reference the Reserve My Court User Guide available on the Tennis Club website at (www.TrilogyTennisClub.com) or ask for assistance from the Kiva Club, Mita Club and Alvea Spa Front Desks.
Cancelling a Court
If you are unable to use a tennis court you reserved, out of courtesy to other players, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible using the RMC2020 website. If an individual or group has reserved a court and the individual or group is more than ten minutes late in using the court, the court will be considered forfeited and available for open play.
Guest Requirements
The HOA’s Charter Club Rules govern the Trilogy Tennis Club and, as such, require all non-residents to pay $5/day to play on the tennis courts. Residents are responsible for their guest actions while on the tennis courts and for ensuring payment of the guest fee. In addition, the tennis club sanctions USTA and WVL tennis teams and provides these teams with court reservation priority. All tennis club sanctioned teams are limited to two non-resident players and all non-resident players are required to pay $50/season for the privilege to play on Trilogy tennis courts. The team captain is responsible for ensuring payment of the non-resident player season fee.
Court Reservation Rules
An individual may reserve one or more courts for open tennis play up to 7-days in advance. Open tennis play is defined as any non-Tennis Club sanctioned court reservation. The court reservation system, RMC-2020, allows court reservations to be placed starting at 6:00 a.m. local time 7-days prior to the desired day of play.
Players are required to temporarily vacate the tennis courts to allow for completion of scheduled court blowing and washing maintenance as described in the Court Maintenance Restrictions section.
Mita tennis courts (courts 5 & 6) are temporarily reserved for pickleball play October thru April after 1:45 p.m. daily. Walk-on tennis play is allowed during this time only when both Mita courts are not being used for pickleball play. Tennis players must vacate the court(s) when pickleball players are present.
Additional restrictions apply during Prime Time.
Prime Time Reservation Rules
Prime Time begins on October 1 and runs through March 31 from the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. daily. To ensure fair scheduling of the tennis courts during this high demand period, the following additional scheduling restrictions apply.
An individual may reserve a tennis court for a maximum of 2 consecutive hours during prime-time hours.
An individual may reserve a maximum of three individual courts per week and one reservation per day during prime-time hours.
An individual reserving a court in prime-time hours must be one of the players on the reserved court, e.g., You may not reserve a court for someone else.
Tennis Courts 5 and 6 are prioritized for “open play” during prime-time hours. Club organized play may reserve courts 5 and 6 only when at least two courts are concurrently available for “open play” between the Kiva and Mita locations.
Priority for Court Scheduling
Tennis Club sanctioned activities are given priority over individual member and non-member tennis court reservations. Tennis Club sanctioned activities may be scheduled more than 7-days in advance. Court reservation priority is as follows:
Club socials and club tournaments may reserve courts in prime-time hours and non-prime time hours as needed.
Organized Tennis Club play (Women’s, Men’s, and Mixed Doubles RR) may reserve up to four courts in prime-time hours and non-prime time hours as needed.
West Valley League and U.S.T.A. home matches may reserve courts 2, 3 and 4 during non-prime time hours. Requests for court reservations are allowed 30-days before the start of the prime-time season.
Lessons and Clinics may reserve courts in prime-time hours and non-prime time hours as needed. Note: Court 1 is generally used for these activities.
West Valley League and U.S.T.A. season practice may reserve up to two courts from October thru March during non-prime time hours. Requests for court reservations are allowed 30-days before the start of the prime-time season. A third court may be reserved following the 7-day advance reservation rule.
Tennis Club members and non-members may schedule open play in accordance with the Court Reservation Rules and Prime Time Reservation Rules.
Walk on tennis play, i.e. no court reservation, is allowed. Note: walk-on play must forfeit their court to players with a reservation made on RMC-2020.
Court Maintenance Restrictions:
BlueStar’s contracted maintenance company power washes the tennis courts every other Wednesday. The Kiva courts are power washed from 12-3pm and the Mita courts from 10am-12pm. The courts are reserved for this activity in RMC-2020 and unavailable for tennis play.
BlueStar’s maintenance staff blow off the Kiva tennis courts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. Tennis court blowing begins no earlier than 7am October through March and 6am April through September, in compliance with a Peoria noise ordinance. Court 1-4 blowing takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. M-W-F organized tennis reservations and open play may not interfere with court blowing operations as shown in Table-1 below. Players are required to temporarily vacate the tennis court(s) to allow for completion of this maintenance activity.
